Jessica wants to be ‘laid-back’ mother

Jessica Alba has talked about how parents influence their children’s minds. The actress, who became a mother last month, says, “Kids’ personalities have so much to do with the parents and their mentality.”  Alba explains that if you are more relax as a mother, your kids will feel more free and responsible, and things turn the easy way. “If you’re very paranoid and uptight and won’t let your child cross the street, they are going to take on that anxiety. If you’re a little more laid-back and make your kids responsible for their actions, you’ll probably have an easier time with them. I guess I’ll find out,” people.com quoted the 27-year-old star, as saying.

Jessica eager to become a mother

Jessica has admitted she always dreamt of motherhood. The 26-year-old actress confesses she is fulfilling a longtime wish.  “I’ve always wanted to be a mother so it’s a dream comes true,” she says. “I’ve known since I was a little girl. I’m the oldest of 15 cousins. I’ve babysat them, changed diapers, fed them their bottles and burped them since I was about six.” The only things Jessica dislike about pregnancy is that she can’t enjoy a glass of wine. She says, “Sometimes I want a few glasses of wine. “’I get half a glass maybe once a week and I don’t even like it. It tastes different. My taste buds are different. I miss Scotch, too.”  Her daughter is due in June
