Awake is available on dvd from this monday (Aug 25th) in the UK. I shall add the screencaptures next week.
Movie Summary: Young banking heir Clay Beresford (Hayden Christensen - Jumper) has everything - prestige, a beautiful new wife (Jessica Alba - Fantastic Four) and a lucrative career, but what he needs most of all is a life-saving heart transplant. Luckily the perfect donor is found, but joy soon turns to sheer, unmitigated terror, when he finds himself in a situation few dare to imagine. He suffers anaesthetic awareness and is inadvertently left completely alert during the complicated and painful surgery.
Jessica Alba Hits the Red Carper at Voto Latino Event
Jessica Alba was among several celebrities who hit up the red carped the Voto Latino event dedicated to the DNC. Jessica was joined by J.Lo, Rosario Dawson, Sofia Vergara, Fat Joe and Wilmer Valderrama, all who stopped and talked to the crowd and posed for pictures on their way into the club.
In a quick interview Jessica said:
“I am so happy to support Barack. I adore his way, I love how human he is, he gives us hope, I feel like we can relate to him, and the first step to making a difference or any kind of change in the way that our country is being ran is by getting out and voting.”
Jessica Alba at the Obama Speech
Jessica Alba stayed in Denver and attended the Obama speech yesterday along with many other celebrities. Following the speech Alba said “I think that Barack Obama is the change that we need and I am so excited to be here. It’s anniversary of the Martin Luther King speech and all of it has come together. There is such synergy and so much love.”
Among the many celebs attending the event, we could see Susan Sarandon, Tim Daly, Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Hudson, Fergie, Will.I.Am, and Oscar nominee Angela Bassett.
Jessica Alba in Denver for Obama
Rumor has it that Jessica Alba may make a surprise appearance at a Democratic National Convention event being held these days in Denver, CO.
According to PageSix, Jessica Alba will party among other celebs such as Rosario Dawson, Eva Longoria, Fat Joe, Wilmer Valderrama and Sofia Vergara at Voto Latino’s DNC event in Denver tonight . . .
Jessica has not been outside of L.A. since giving birth and would be interesting to see if she actually makes it.

Jessica Alba is in featured this month’s issue of UK Cosmopolitan. Jessica opened up to the magazine about giving birth, being bullied in high school and relationships.
On relationships Jessica said: “I understand why some women use men for sex.”
On acting: Loves playing bad girls.
On her teenage years (before Dark Angel): “I was constantly bullied.”
How Jessica Alba Got her Body Back
Jessica Alba’s personal trainer opened up recently about her weight loss secrets that helped her lose her baby-fat and get her figure back after only 2 months.
“Jessica went from a size 8 to a size 4 pretty quickly,” says Jessica’s trainer Ramona Braganza. She has been following a low-fat, low-carb diet while maintaining a workout schedule of six days a week by doing circuit training and cardio on an elliptical machine and treadmill at home. Jessica also had a workout buddy, actress Jamie King, who frequently trained with Jessica. “She loves working out with a girlfriend,” says Braganza.

Jessica Alba Will Consider Adoption
Adoption had become somewhat of a status symbol among celebrities in recent year and in a recent interview Jessica Alba was asked about the issue of adoption and if she will consider adopting in the future. However, she did mention that she will consider it only after she will no longer be able to give birth.
“I’d like to have as many children as my body will allow - and I’d adopt if I still want more children after that,” Jessica told YOU magazine.
Jessica added that her husband Cash Warren share the same family values and that she is confident about their future together.
“He wants the same things in life,” she said. “He wants to adopt and have a big family and believes in marriage forever. It can really happen if we want it to.”
Jessica Goes Green
Jessica Alba is all about green and organic crap and yesterday she was spotted promoting it, wearing a shirt that reads “Go Green”.
